Dana Yealy has been a registered nurse for the past ten years treating many patients from the most critical to those needing simple care and reassurance.
Her initial training started 26 years ago when she volunteered for a local ambulance service as an EMT. From there she started her hospital career path in phlebotomy and decided to pursue a nursing career after seeing the impact a nurse can have on a patientâs well-being.
Dana obtained her Associate's Degree in Nursing from HACC. She accepted her first nursing position as a staff RN for Hanover Hospitalâs Emergency Department. From there she grew in nursing while obtaining her Bachelor's Degree from Penn State Mont Alto in 2011 and accepted the Emergency Department's Clinical Educator role which encompassed training all new RNs in the emergency room as well as maintaining competencies for the entire ED nursing staff. Dana ventured to the night shift clinical leader while continuing her desire for learning and realizing she could have a greater impact on patient care by obtaining her Master's Degree in Nursing to become a CRNP at Widener University graduating in 2017.
Dana will be working directly with Dr. Henke and other providers at Hanover Family Practice's Broadway office. She will provide the same exceptional care that you have come to expect. Dana recognizes her limitations in her scope of practice as a CRNP and will seek assistance as needed for those situations.
